SESSIONS
Do you offer in-person or online therapy?
I offer virtual therapy and in-person intensive therapy (4 to 6 hours long therapy sessions) in Newmarket, Aurora, and Markham (*waitlist)
How long are each sessions?
Each counselling session is billed for 60,90,120 minutes sessions. The the last 10 minutes of the session is for administrative purposes.
Couples intensives sessions range from 4 to 6 hours long.
What happens during the first session?
During our first session, we will discuss your areas of concern and set therapy goals together.
How does online therapy work?
We will use a secure online platform (Jane App) to conduct our video calls.
Where are you located?
I am based in Ontario offering virtual services across Ontario and Alberta. I offer in-person intensive therapy (4 to 6 hours long sessions) in Newmarket, Aurora, and Markham.
Will you do a formal assessment and provide a diagnosis?
My role as a counselling psychologist during therapy is to provide counselling services, therefore I will not be offering formal assessment and/or diagnosis. If in our discussion I suspect you may benefit from a formal assessment, I will assist you with a referral to the appropriate health care provider.
FEES & INSURANCE COVERAGE
Are your services covered by OHIP?
My services are considered as private paid psychological services, and is not covered by OHIP. I will provide you a receipt for insurance purposes.
Do you provide direct billing?
I currently do not offer direct billing. I offer receipts if clients would like to claim insurance coverage with their extended health benefits.
